A date with Vios in the afternoon and with Alvin at nite on our 4th year anniversary...

Before the lovey dovey thingy begins with Alvin on our 4th year anniversary... Together with my other colleagues, also friends, we gotta attend a lunch with our managers and MEDICAL DIRECTOR - Dr Angula Thomas.... All of us, never dreamt of having lunch with our medical Director, and furthermore, the whole japanese lunch was on her!!! It was an awesome japanese lunch!!! We had our lunch at SUKARAYA at Ginza Plaza... Sashimi is thick and very very very fresh!! YUMMY!!!! Before the lunch with the MD, my perception about her was very serious and dining with her is gonna be stressful.... BUT everything was totally different.... she's very nice.... she's able to create conversation with us.... she's a very nice lady with no air!!!! Therefore the whole lunch wasn't that stressful afterall... :)

After lunch... i went on a ride with Vios while Alvin's still in camp for his reservist... It was an awesome car.... Piz taken from Alvin's Sony Ericsson K750i. Good 2magapixel camera phone!! Hmmm... i think i m very very vain in the pix!! bear with me... heee heee....

In the evening... I met up with Alvin at Grand Corptheron.... we had seafood buffet.. (Gee... i had very very good food the whole day!!!) Yummy!!! And we spend the night together at the hotel.... a lovely relaxing night together... Haven't get to meet up with him and interact with him for the whole of the week.... HE'S ON RESERVIST.... serving the nation!! :) hee hee.... And that Saturday, our 4th year anniversary, was a great time for us to catch up with each other. The setting of the nite during our dinner was awesome, we dine by the Singapore River. And with the pressence of Alvin, i definately enjoyed myself very very much. :) We spent so much time chatting, enjoying each other presence that we didn't take any pictures on that nite. :)

Last year, I did a shooting for the publication... AND TODAY, this mailer is being distributed within my company. Geee... it's kinda embarrassing.... What a SMALL world.... I m just praying that no one opens the attachment and see.... So far, only my colleagues in my dept noticed... haa haaa.....

haa haa... I managed to find all the piz from K750I. First one was taken at Jacks Place on Alvin's Birthday eve. and the rest are all about my new niece- HAZEL.

Alvin's Birthday Celebration...

Gee.... We took some piz on that day... they are awesome... but when i tried to upload them to my computer..... i accidentially deleted all of them unknowningly!!! SHARKS!!! Has got pix of my cute little niece.... and my nice piz of myself with a new top specially brought to dress up on HIS birthday.... SIGH....

I have been using Sony Ericsson K750i... Camera is AWESOME!!! GOOD PIZ! MUCH MUCH better than my O2!!!! Gonna miss the camera when i get back my O2. Anyway... Alvin's on reservist these 2 weeks... a good excuse for me to use his NEW phone.... even though i got back my O2. :) But in terms of user friendliness..... I prefer O2. There's many shortcuts to get where i need to go in O2. As for K750i, I need to rely on the scroller to select.

Anyway... back to the subject: Alvin's Birthday Celebration...

Hmmmm, nothing much... I treated him to SPA in the afternoon at Body Contours... Not really as fantastic as the one in KL!!! Maybe i was late and they have to rush... the over all experience wasn't as good and relaz. But hey! I was late for a reason!! I was caught up by doctor's call, and got to solve is complaints! And i tried to take a cab down to Raffles Place.... it was DARN tough to get a cab at that time! So i end up calling for a cab! SO EXPENSIVE!!! We were half hr late for the SPA.

Anyway... after SPA, we went back to bath... coz it's so sticky when the massage oil on us.... and after a quick shower... we went to Jacks Place for dinner... Nothing fantastic... but it was nice to dine with with Alvin! I ordered a Mango Cream cake from Swiss Bake at Takashimaya... we collected it.... (Alvin still don't know what's the cake at that time!! it was a surprise for him!) As they didn't provide any dry ice to keep it cool.... i got a cooler bag for the cake!!! So afraid that it will melt!! and it will be nice when the clock strikes 12mn!!! So we collected the cake and together with the cake, we went Plaza Singapura, our favourite Movie place, for PINK PANTHER! It was not bad... abit silly... but funny!!!

After the movie, it's almost 12mn... we drove to labourdor park to celebrate his birthday with his favourite cake - Mango cake! we chat.... we had the cake! it was nice!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALVIN!! now i m looking fwd for our ANNIVERSARY at Grand Copthorne, our favourite hotel to relax. but before meeting Alvin, i gotta go for a lunch with my Medical Director and the managers and also KArine, Angela and Sam.... Phew... lucky there's 3 of them.... it's gonna be a serious lunch!! feeling kinda uncomfy!!! :(

BZZIE LIZZIE.... BZZIE with SHANGHAI NIGHT..

For the past few weeks, I have been very very very very busy at work.... Was busy with my company's dinner on the 11 feb 2006 at Traders Hotel. BUT i was also having fun with my colleagues from other department - MY NEW FRIENDS - ANGELA, KARIN, SAM! Guys, I m going to miss those exciting moments. Staying up late for discussion, talking senseless things becoz we are all super tired.... My fav nite was on the eve of the dinner, 10 Feb. We stayed up till 12:30am and we set up the sercurity Alarm.... That was our most exciting and adrenaline rushing nite.... so afraid of the alarm that we are all shaking!!! haa haaa!!! It was fun... it's like seating on a roller coaster!!! haaa haaa..... And i never forget abt the ROBERT thingie... I was so tired that i lost my words... and I ask for ROBERT instead of RUBBER!! haa haaa... But it was DARN fun!!! I m gonna miss those days...

And becoz of all these planning for the event, i put aside many of my usual routine work... now that the event is over, not only i gotta do a post event thingie, i gotta many things to catch up... things are in control now.... just need time to sort things out and get things in place. While i was busy with the event, my colleagues in my dept helped me in most of the work... THANKS GUYS - GENE, REEMA, YENLING and EUNICE!

The Dinner was awesome.... THEME was SHANGHAI NIGHT, Decor wasn't fantastic, but the prizes were very attractive and the games were fun!!! SAM AND I were the host for that night. WOW... i didn't know that i can do that. Maybe i should try my luck if there is any Project Super Host, in English.

During the dinner, I can see that all my colleagues were enjoying themselves!!! I m so proud of the organising committee. :) Feedback were good!!! I m so glad! And of coz why the dinner was so successful was all becoz of my spotting colleagues, the awesome staffs from Traders hotel and my cooperative organising committee friends. THANKS GUYS!!! I m so happy to see all my colleagues enjoyed themselves!! VERY VERY HAPPY!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY...

If u ask me how did i spend my Valentine's day with Alvin.... my ans is... NOTHING MUCH, as usual, we hang around Causeway Point.... I bought him a SONY ERICSSON 750i for last yr's Xmas, his 27th Birthday this 19 Feb 2006, Valentine's Day and our 5th Year Anniversary on 25 Feb 2006!!!! Expensive present for so many occassions! haa....

But he's not the first to use it... ME using it now.... tomorrow, i m going to service my O2 XphoneII, and I think it's gonna be with the service centre for 1 week... so i m surviving with his NEW 750i! Sorry Alvin....

Valentine's Day isn't a big day for us.... what matters is 2 other important days in Feb... EVERY 19 FEB - Alvin's Hatch Day and EVERY 25 FEB - OUR yr ANNIVERSARY. :)

We will excited abt these 2 days and will plan for activities!!! Of coz, I will plan for Alvin's Hatch Day. And we will plan for our anniversary together. This yr, we have plans.... hope it's gonna be another unforgettable one! :)

Being a good Daughter-in-law....

I m writing this not really to bitch about my bro's wife, but to allow my friends to understand that there is such people exists and we learnt from all these nonsense that I've seen these few year after living together with my sis-in-law. And hopefully, after reading this, we become a better person for others. We, girls, one day being someone's daughter-in-law should not behave this way, I think. Afterall, we should respect everyone in the family. Don't think that you can be treated like a queen.

This is what my sis-in-law has been doing all these years.... learnt from her mistakes and avoid making such mistakes.

1. She nevers mops or sweep the floor. Once, i overheard that she claims that she don't know how to sweep the floor.

2. After dinner (mum cooks dinner), she cleans her own bowl and chopsticks. I don't see her helping my mum or me with the cleaning of other cookwares.

3. She will SCOLD hokkien vulgar language, BANG THE DOOR and LEAVE THE HOUSE if anyone irritates her horribly. Like accidentally discolored her clothes when my dad was trying to help her do laundry. That was when we first shift in together.

4. She don't even know how to change a light bulb.

5. She don't allow anyone to touch her things. That's fair enough. But it's OK to help her keep her laundry. Doesn't it sound like being her maid?

6. She will COMPLAINT, when someone, usually me on Saturdays, bath in the middle of the night, say 2am. She complaints that the sound of running water disturb her sleep. U mean she can't sleep well when it's raining outside??

7. She never says THANK YOU when someone help her to do something. Like a simple action of helping her to open the door when she forgets her key.

8. She treats people, especially my mum, as her junk man. She gives away things that she thinks it doesn't suit her anymore or out of fashion. Maybe she was thinking "don't waste, just give it away" but i think it's rude.

9. After having the baby around, i never see her washing her baby's clothes. Most of the time, it was my mum. Strange? She can hand wash her own clothes, but not her baby's clothes. What? Mum's her maid?

10. During her 3 mths maternalty leave, she hardly look after her baby when my mum's cooking dinner. Poor mum gotta run up and down to make sure her food's not burnt and baby's fine. My sis-in-law will either sleep in the room or out of the house. Can't she offer to help!??

11. In the afternoon, she leaves her baby with mum in the living room. And she either sleeps or go for some slimming session. My poor mum don't need to rest and take a afternoon nap too??

12. She hardly address my dad as father.

13. She throws tantrum at least once a year (Don't know why?). She will pick on things to SCOLD, PACK HER THINGS AND LEAVE THE HOUSE FOR A DAY, for no good reason. She had such incident with everyone in the house. And that includes me. Since then, i decided not to interact with her too much to avoid such senseless arguments. And for 1 year... i hardly speak to her and hardly see her although we stay under one roof. Sad to say. Some people like her, it's always best to avoid any communication.

14. In other words, she treats my mum like maid. She thinks everyone should treat her like a queen. As if, everyone owes her a favor.

GUYS, please please, don't marry a girl like that. U are giving yourself and your family hard time. GIRLS, please please, do the right thing. Give some respect to your in-laws.

Personally, i find this girl a problem in the family. But it's always good to meet someone like her. I, then, know what to do and what not to do. I should be a better person after experiencing with such lady here in my house.
