CELEBRATIONS!!!!

Exactly 5 YEARS ago, Alvin and I got together as girlfriend and boyfriend in this little suburb call Ipswich in Brisbane.. Then, we were students... poor but happy. :) Those were the dating days.... And today we are celebrating our 5th year dating anniversary as husband and wife.

24th Feb 2007:

We start celebrating our "valentine's day" on 24th Feb evening. Nothing fantastic... after i met my friends in the afternoon, we started the celebration at Sizzler at Suntec City. We shopped for my anniversary gift.... what he got for me is a "Secret" and I got him his favorite watch as his birthday on 19th Feb and for our anniversary today. And we went for a movie at Marina Square - Ghost Rider. Great Movie! And after the movie, we went Esplanade for a walk, and we watch part of Jackie Chan's Movie - RoBiHood, at the starlight cinema... that's was a lovely environment... but unfortunately, it rained! Ergh.. and we went back home to continue that movie at our love hut. :)

And today Japanese menu for the celebration is..... Cold Soba, Chawamushi and Tori no Kara-age (Deep-fried Chicken Nuggets). Chef of today is ME....

Alvin's Birthday on 19th Feb 2007:
Talking about Alvin's Birthday on 19th Feb 2007... We went Sentosa... Dad's friend from Hong Kong came and we have to chauffeur him to The Sentosa Resort to meet his friends and we celebrated Alvin's Birthday at a Indian Restaurant. Food's not bad... But service sucks! They took a LONG time to serve our food! Sometimes, i wonder whether we were in MTV BOILING POINT. :)
We got back home and I made him a cake and mango dessert.... :) Check this out...

I cooked fried rice for dinner today! Looks yummy isn't it? :p here's my secret recipe!

Recipe: (serves 2)

4 eggs

rice

3 garlics

1 can of luncheon meat

half a pack of frozen mixed veggies

some preserved radish

Hey! I cooked HOKKIEN PRAWN NOODLE for dinner just now!! Not too bad huh! AND DARN! I PUT ON 3KG of weight!! I m gonna watch my diet.....

Back from Reservist....

Alvin was gone for reservist for the WHOLE of last week (from Friday nite and back on the following Friday evening).... and that WHOLE week... Mum and Dad came over the stay with me. I was kinda busy with them.... Mum stayed with me over the weekend.... I went shopping with her at Chinatown for some new year goodies and Ikea which is very near to my house. :) And of coz, i met up with some of friends for KTV session on Saturday nite while my mum shops for her new year clothes... and I accompanied her after my KTV session shopping for new year goodies.

Dad came to "change-shift" with mum on Sunday... Coz mum needs to be back for my niece - Hazel. With Dad, there's no shopping.... nothing... just at home watching TV together. :) That's good enough.... :)

Although it's nice to have my parents around with me at home..... I do occasionally miss my hubby.... so used to have him around.... for the first few days, it was kinda weird to stay with mum.... but i got used to it gradually.

And finally, my dear alvin is back from reservist... and it's back to our normal routine! Now i gotta adjust back to have him around again! :p

I will be travelling alot in March!!! Can't wait till MARCH! Will be with other 10 of my girlfriends to BATAM on 17th Mar 2007 for a night... AND will be with my hubby to Siem Reap (Angkor Wat, Cambodia) 10 days later after my BATAM trip... which is 27th Mar to 30th Mar! It's gonna be one of our honeymoon destinations.... I m looking forward to these trips!
